Our passion is exciting and interesting eyewear and are pleased to introduce these ranges to Heaton Moor. 

All of our eyewear has been chosen individually by us. If we don't love it, we don't stock it. 

Most of our brands are ones you may not have heard of. 

We prefer those that only make eyewear and have a passion for design and quality.

We are a small independent optician and not part of a big group, which gives us complete control over which eyewear we stock.

YOU MAWO is a German-based eyewear brand that was founded by four travellers who became aware of the diversity of the world and wanted to create eyeglasses that reflected that individuality. They use modern 3D printing technology to produce glasses that are customised to fit perfectly, and are considered pioneers in the field. The glasses are also comfortable and functional, with a purist and timeless aesthetic, and are available in seven collections for a range of personalities.

They are 30% lighter than traditional acetate glasses and more durable. The company is already 100% net carbon neutral due to the nature of the manufacturing process.

Their designs are technically and dynamically optimized based on the analysis of hundreds of faces. The basis for the design is the average face geometry of the target customers. The final product is a unique symbiosis between human, science, craftsmanship and technology

Garrett Leight California Optical was created in 2010 and is fueled by a group of young, passionate purveyors of eyewear, dedicated to creating classic designs by combining perfect craftsmanship with timeless aesthetics.

Founded in Venice Beach and designed at their studio in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles, GLCO is influenced and inspired by the people, places, and stories of California. Each design incorporates the easy-going philosophy of Californian culture and is stamped with VC/CA 90291 as a reminder of their Venice roots. 

GLCO uses the most exclusive, highest quality materials from the best suppliers in the industry with hundreds of years of experience. Their cured acetates, ranging from deadstock to colourways exclusively designed and produced for GLCO, are sourced from the top acetate houses in Japan, Italy, and China.

Anne and Valentin is a French eyewear brand that was founded in 1978 by husband and wife team, Anne and Valentin. The brand's philosophy is based on creating unique and original eyewear designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Anne and Valentin's eyewear designs are characterised by their use of bold colours, unconventional shapes, and playful details. 

The brand is also known for its commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Each frame is handcrafted in France using only the highest quality materials, and undergoes a rigorous quality control process to ensure that it meets the brand's exacting standards.

Anne and Valentin's eyewear collections are available in a wide range of styles, including eyeglasses, sunglasses, and prescription sunglasses. The brand's designs are popular with fashion-forward individuals who appreciate unique, high-quality eyewear that stands out from the crowd.

Dita Eyewear is a luxury eyewear brand known for its high-quality, handcrafted sunglasses and optical frames. The brand was founded in Los Angeles in 1995 by Jeff Solorio and John Juniper, who were inspired by vintage frames from the 1950s to 1980s.

Dita's frames are made using a combination of traditional and modern techniques, such as acetate molding and titanium casting. The brand is known for its attention to detail, including intricate designs, custom acetates, and unique finishes.

Dita has collaborated with various celebrities, including Brad Pitt, who wore Dita's Lancier sunglasses in the movie "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," and musician Travis Scott, who collaborated with the brand on a limited edition collection.
